Temporary Closure of Withiel Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Withiel Lane - from 668 metres north-west of the junction with Bessom Cross To Robbery Gate, westwards for a total distance of 26 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry out local drainage on behalf of Somerset Highways. The Order becomes effective on 15th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 21st August 2025 and last until 22nd August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
