Temporary Closure of Piles Mill Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Piles Mill Lane - from 76 metres south of the junction with Minehead Road, southwards for a total distance of 230 metres. This Order will enable Kier to replace wooden posts on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 29th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
