THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT
(EDGELEY ROAD, EDGELEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) (SUSPENSION OF PARKING AT ANY TIME) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced a Temporary Prohibition of a Right Turn at Edgeley Road, Stockport, from Northgate Road to Carmichael Street and a Suspension of Parking at Any Time on both sides of Edgeley Road between the junctions of Northgate Road and Carmichael Street, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road. This Order is necessary to allow works regarding the Greek Street bridge replacement to take place. It is estimated these works will last 7 days. This Order came into operation on the 12 August 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
