Station Terrace - Temporary Closure Whilst Works to Replace a Gas Pipe Are Undertaken
What is happening?

DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith ar y ffordd fynediad i Ganolfan Hamdden Tonyrefail. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau'r Ffordd Fynediad Ddienw i Ganolfan Hamdden Tonyrefail, o'i chyffordd â Heol Waunrhydd, tua'r de am bellter o 40 metr.

Nodwch – Bydd ffordd ymadael bresennol y Ganolfan Hamdden wrth y gyffordd â Heol Gilfach yn cael ei rheoli gan oleuadau traffig 3 ffordd dros dro a bydd yn cael ei defnyddio i gael mynediad ac ymadael maes parcio'r Ganolfan Hamdden. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr ac ar gyfer cyrraedd eiddo.
Fydd DIM mynediad ar gyfer cerbydau'r gwasanaethau brys. Mae disgwyl i'r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau: -

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (CYNON TRAIL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months.
The closure is necessary in the interests of public safety whilst works to replace a gas pipe are undertaken.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the following section of path:-
Temporary Closures
Cynon Trail – Phase 1
That section that commences near no. 11 Station Terrace, Cwmaman CF44 6NE and proceeds southwestwards for 150 metres
Cynon Trail – Phase 2
That section that commences near 100 Fforchaman Road, Cwmaman CF44 6NF and proceeds southwestwards for 225 metres
NB The works will be Phased with only one section of the path closed at a time.
Advanced signage will be displayed on site 7 days prior to Phase 2 commencing.
Alternative Route – During the period of the closure, the public should use the existing highway network Access for emergency services WILL NOT be maintained The closure is expected to be in operation during the following dates, or until such time as the works have been completed: -
• Full Closure from 26th August to 24th December 2025
