TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000144839033: The City of Manchester (Various Streets, Brooklands Ward, Northenden Ward, Baguley Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic, Prohibition of Right-Hand Turn, & No Waiting/No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to 1. Prohibit vehicular traffic on Wythenshawe Road, Moor Road, & Rackhouse Road between the hours of 11:00 and 02:00. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally. 2. Prohibit the righthand turn from Gib Lane on to Altrincham Road, and from Altrincham Road in to Wythenshawe Park. The alternative routes for traffic will be Signed Locally. 3. Restrict vehicular parking on Altrincham Road, Moor Road, Wythenshawe Road, Moorcroft Road, Orton Road, Sale Road, Crewe Road, Northolt Road, Lawton Moor Road, Leycett Drive, Carloon Road, The Pines, Hallas Grove, Rackhouse Road, Parkwood Road, Gib Lane, Spinney Road, Hall Lane, Wellfield Road, & Spark Road. The City Council is satisfied that these restrictions are necessary in order to facilitate Live at Wythenshawe Park Concerts. It is expected that the event will be in progress from 15th August 2025 to 17th August 2025. The orders shall come into operation on 15th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If the measures are ended within a shorter period, this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
