Dudley - Various Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Orders,

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary One-Way Restriction) (Castlegate Drive, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a southbound direction on Castlegate Drive, Dudley, for the purpose of the installation of a new HV cable being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 15/8/25 at 07:30 and will remain in force until 21/8/25 at 17:00 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via:
Castlegate Drive, Castlegate Way, Castle Gate Island, and Birmingham Road.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Cycle Lane Closure) (Castlegate Drive, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily close the cycle lane at Castlegate Drive, Dudley, for the purpose of the installation of a new HV cable being carried out on or near the affected road. The Order will come
into operation on 19/8/25 at 07:30 and will remain in force until 26/8/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion is necessary.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Gervase Drive and Woodland Avenue, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Gervase Drive and Woodland Avenue, Dudley, for
the purpose of gas mains replacement works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 18/8/25 and will remain in force until 8/9/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum
duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Forest Road, Castle Mill Road, Priory Road, Woodland Avenue, and vice versa AND Woodland Avenue, Priory Road, The Broadway, Paganel Drive, Gervase Drive, and vice versa.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Stourdell Road, Cradley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Stourdell Road, Cradley, for the purpose of water mains rehab works
being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 18/08/2025 and will remain in force until 12/10/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18
months. Traffic will be diverted via: Shelton Lane, Banners Lane, and vice versa.

Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
