Ashfield Drive - Temporary Road Closure due to Electrical Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ASHFIELD DRIVE, BAILDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works to be executed on or near Ashfield Drive, Baildon has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Ashfield Drive from a point outside No.1 Ashfield Drive to a point outside No.7 Ashfield Drive.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Ashfield Drive (unaffected section), Holden Lane, Kirkfields and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 11th August 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 on the 15th of August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
