Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on Ashton Hayes Public Right of Way FP6 from a point on Peel Hall Lane at OSGR SJ 5005 6939 heading in a south westerly direction for approximately 361 metres to a point at OSGR SJ 4978 6916 where Ashton Hayes FP6 joins Horton-Cum-Peel FP5, whilst works on or adjacent to the public footpath are undertaken.
The Order will come into operation on 20 August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of six months or until works are completed, whichever is sooner.
There is no alternative route.
This order does not prevent any pedestrians with access to premises situated on or adjacent to the public footpaths only accessible from the path or by any emergency vehicle.
