U7018 Slaggyford Junction to The Knar - Temporary Road Closure due to Utility Works

U7018 SLAGGYFORD JUNCTION TO THE KNAR SLAGGYFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7018 Slaggyford Junction to The Knar Slaggyford from its junction with A689 Slaggyford Main Road through Village heading in a south eastwards direction for a length of 874 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 19th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 12th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th September 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

The closure has been requested by Novo Tech to replace two poles, excavate and install two tobies. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
