What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
CLARENDON STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Clarendon Street, outside numbers 152 to 158, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to repair a partially collapsed sewer.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 1st September 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 6pm commencing 1st September 2025 until 5th September 2025.

HAVELOCK STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Havelock Street, from the junction with Witty Street to the southern dead-end.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during reconstruction works.
There is no alternative route for vehicles as the street is a dead-end.
However, restricted access will be maintained for Businesses.
The Order will take effect on 29th August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in two phases; phase one between 7pm on 29th August 2025 and 6am on 1st September 2025 and phase two between 7pm on 5th September 2025 and 6am on 8th September 2025.

HOTHAM ROAD NORTH (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Hotham Road North, at the junction with Bricknell Avenue, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works being carried out on the telecoms mast.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 11th September 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 6pm on 11th September 2025.

TRIPPETT STREET AND CARROLL PLACE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Trippett Street and Carroll Place, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to install a new gas main in Trippett Street, half of Trippett Street is to be used for the site welfare cabin set up, half will remain open to allow access into the casino for deliveries. Parking spaces on Carroll Place will be suspended for the duration of the works.
The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 1st September 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

WINCOLMLEE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Wincolmlee, near PBS Construction, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to replace a leaking gas main.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 14th August 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along PROW NO 7, Setting Dyke, Bricknell Woods, area to the west of Appleton Primary School and within the school grounds.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during flood risk management works.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 1st September 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 1st September until 30th September 2025.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Convent Lane, outside number 1, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to lay a new gas service.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 8th September 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 5pm commencing 8th September 2025 until 10th September 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Charlotte Street Mews, from the junction with George Street to the junction with Grimston Street.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of utility pipe works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 7th September 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 4pm commencing 7th September 2025 until 21st November 2025.
