The Barrow, Cradley – Temporary Road Closure due to New Gas Connection Works
What is happening?

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U65622, The Barrow, Cradley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65622, The Barrow, Cradley, outside The Old Garage Annexe. Grid Ref: 372062/248438. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U65624 onto the C1140 onto the U65623 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new gas connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 days.
