Track South of Pennsylvania, Lyonshall - Temporary Road Closure due to Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1080 Track South Of Pennsylvania Lyonshall, Almeley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1080 Track South Of Pennsylvania Lyonshall, Almeley, 50 metres either side of water crossing. Grid Ref: 333275/251166. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1080 onto the A480, onto the A4112, onto the C1080 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to scour remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
