HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 21ain Awst 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar 21ain Awst 2025, gan weithio rhwng 08:00 – 17:00.  

2. Mae angen y Gorchymyn  gan y bydd y briffordd yn cael ei lleihau i un lôn gyda goleuadau traffig dros dro rheoledig yn cael eu defnyddio i ganiatáu i waith MJ Quinn ddigwydd yn ddiogel yn y lleoliad.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o Rhan Isaf Heol Rhaglan, Llandenni, Sir Fynwy.  

Gostyngiad yn y terfyn cyflymder o 60mya i 40mya.

Gostyngiad yn y terfyn cyflymder yn dechrau tua 0.70m o'i gyffordd â Heol Cwrt-Y-Gollen am tua 250m i gyfeiriad gogledd-ddwyreiniol.  

4. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Rhan Isaf Heol Rhaglan, Llandenni, Sir Fynwy 2025.  

5. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE
SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  


MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(LOWER RAGLAN ROAD, LLANDENNY, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 21st August 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on 21st August 2025, operating between 08:00 – 17:00.  

2. The order is necessary as the highway will be reduced to a single lane with the use controlled temporary traffic signals to allow for MJ Quinn poling works to take place safely at the location.  

3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily reduce the speed limit on a section of the Lower Raglan Road, Llandenny, Monmouthshire.  

A reduction of the speed limit from 60mph to 40mph. Speed limit reduction starting ~0.70m from its junction with Cwrt-Y-Gollen Road for ~250m in a north-easterly direction.  

4. This order may be cited as the Lower Raglan Road, Llandenny, Monmouthshire, Speed Limit Reduction Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

5. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
