DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn cynnal gwaith clirio llystyfiant a chynnal archwiliadau strwythurol ar bont y rheilffordd.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau’r rhannau canlynol o’r ffyrdd:-

1. Stryd y Felin, Pontypridd o’i chyffordd â Ffordd Liniaru Fewnol Pontypridd, i gyfeiriad y deddwyrain am bellter o 220 metr (gan gynnwys y ffordd gyswllt ddienw rhwng Ffordd y Rhondda a Stryd y Felin).

Llwybr Amgen: ewch ar hyd Ffordd y Rhondda.

2. Ffordd Liniaru Fewnol Pontypridd, y rhan o’r ffordd sy’n mynd i’r gogledd-ddwyrain, o bwynt sydd 55 metr i’r gogledd-orllewin o’i chyffordd â Heol Sardis, i’w chyffordd â Stryd y Felin.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, ac eiddo.

Fydd DIM mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr.

Mae disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau dros nos rhwng y dyddiadau a’r amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau:-

• 23:00 dydd Sadwrn 23 Awst – 08:00 dydd Sul 24 Awst 2025

• 23:30 dydd Sul 24 Awst – 05:00 dydd Llun 25 Awst 2025

• 22:00 dydd Sadwrn 30 Awst – 06:00 dydd Sul 31 Awst 2025

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(MILL STREET, PONTYPRIDD)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The closure is necessary to facilitate vegetation clearance and structural inspection of the railway bridge.

The effect of the Order will be to close the following lengths of roads:-

1. Mill Street, Pontypridd, from its junction with the Pontypridd Inner Relief Road, south eastwards for a distance of 220 metres (including the unnamed Link Road between Rhondda Road and Mill Street).

Alternative route available via Rhondda Road.

2. The Pontypridd Inner Relief Road, northeastbound section, from a point 55 metres northwest of its junction with Sardis Road, to its junction with Mill Street.

Alternative route available via the Pontypridd Inner Relief Road and Rhondda Road

Access will be maintained for emergency services and to premises.

Access WILL NOT be maintained for pedestrians.

The closure is expected to be in operation overnight between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -

• 2300 Saturday 23rd August – 0800 Sunday 24th August 2025

• 2230 Sunday 24th August – 0500 Monday 25th August 2025

• 2200 Saturday 30th August – 0600 Sunday 31st August 2025
