East Riding Of Yorkshire - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Carriageway Maintenance Works
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
THE PARKWAY, WILLERBY (SERVICE ROADS), BELLFIELD DRIVE, BESSACARR AVENUE, BRIMINGTON ROAD, LADYSMITH ROAD, REGENT CLOSE, SOUTHGATE CLOSE, SWADDALE AVENUE AND THE HOLLIES, WILLERBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along:
The Parkway, Willerby (service roads between numbers 43 and 89 (odds)/26 and 78 (evens)/99 and 109 (odds)/88 and 108 (evens).
Bellfeld Drive, Bessacarr Avenue, Brimington Road, Ladysmith Road, Regent Close, Southgate Close, Swaddale Avenue and The Hollies, Willerby (full extents)
Commencing 11 August 2025 to allow carriageway maintenance works to be carried out by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The road closures are necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works (which will be carried out in phases) will be completed by 18 August 2025.
The alternative route for traffc affected by the Bellfeld Drive, Willerby Road closure will be via Well Lane and Ashgate Road, Willerby. The alternative route for traffc affected by the Brimington Road, Willerby road closure will be via Carr Lane, Carr Lane Roundabout and The Parkway, Willerby. The alternative route for traffc affected by the Ladysmith Road, Willerby Road closure will be via The Parkway, Carr Lane Roundabout, Carr Lane and Ashgate Road, Willerby. The alternative route for traffc affected by the The Hollies, Willerby Road closure will be via Well Lane, The Parkway and Ladysmith Road, Willerby.
There will be no alternative routes for the other road closures. The diversion routes will be signed at the time of closure. The roads will be closed to all traffc however access will be maintained for residents, emergency services and pedestrians.
