ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(A)
THE A30 TRUNK ROAD (PATTESON’S CROSS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A30 trunk road in the County of Devon because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
The effect of the Order will be to authorise the closure of the A30 Eastbound exit slip road at Patteson’s Cross Junction.
These measures will be in the interests of road safety to ensure the safe control of traffic during the Beautiful Days Festival.
The event will take place on 14 August 2025.
During the closure, traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A30 and local roads.
The closure (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the period of danger to the public.
The Order will come into force on 12 August 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
