What is happening?

THE OLDHAM - LADHILL LANE GREENFIELD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025
The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Ladhill Lane Greenfield from its junction with Chew Valley Road for a distance of 30 metres in a south westerly direction.
The alternative route will be via Greenbridge Lane and Chew Valley Road.
The Order is to be made to allow Cadent Gas excavations and will be in force for 2 weeks from 18th August 2025, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
