What is happening?

THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (ELECTRIC VEHICLE RECHARGING PARKING PLACES) (NO. 4) ORDER 2025


1. Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order would be:
At the following locations; to introduce one on-street “Electric Vehicle Charging Bay” (parking only for electric vehicles being re-charged). The EV bay would be 6 metres long, unless stated otherwise, and would replace any existing control where appropriate;

Alternatively, they can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9260 6480.
3. Persons wishing to object to or make other representations with regards to these proposals must do so in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made. Representations must be sent to

chargepointTRO@portsmouthcc.gov.uk

or by post to TRO team, Portsmouth City Council, Civic Offices, Portsmouth PO1 2NE, quoting ref TRO P044/4-24 by 12th September 2025 stating the grounds for the objection.
