THE CITY OF SUNDERLAND (GROUP ORDER VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS) (VARIOUS LOCATIONS) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 20--
THE CITY OF SUNDERLAND (GROUP ORDER VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS) (VARIOUS LOCATIONS) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 20-- NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 and 33 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by virtue of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of the proposed Order will (i) Prohibit waiting at any time along the roads in Schedule 1. (ii) Prohibit waiting between Mon-Sat 8am-6pm (inclusive) along the roads in Schedule 2. (iii) Prohibit loading and unloading at any time along the roads in Schedule 3. (iv) Introduce a parking place operating Mon-Sat between 9am-5pm (inclusive) with 30 minutes maximum stay and no return within 1 hour along Tunstall Road the south-east side from a point 0.5 metres north-east of the extended southern property boundary of 91 & 93 Tunstall Road, for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north-easterly direction. (v) Introduce a parking place operating Mon-Sat 9am-5pm (inclusive) with a 3 hour limit and no return within 1 hour along Tunstall Road, the south-east side from a point 7.1 metres north-east of the extended southern property boundary of 91 & 93 Tunstall Road, for a distance of 24.0 metres in a north-easterly direction. (vi) Introduce a parking place operating Mon-Sat 8am-6pm (inclusive) for 30 minutes maximum and no return within 1 hour along Tavistock Place, the south-east side from a point 56.5 metres south-west of the western highway boundary of Tatham Street Back, for a distance of 12.0 metres in a south-westerly direction. (vii) Introduce a parking place operating Mon-Sat 8am-6pm (inclusive) with a 1 hour limit and no return within 1 hour along Laura Street, the north-east side from a point 17.0 metres south of the intersection of its extended eastern kerbline and the extended south-eastern kerbline of Tavistock Place, for a distance of 24.0 metres in a southerly, then south-easterly direction. (viii) Revoke the Orders to the extent set out in Schedule 4. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA, until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to proceed to make the Order. Sutherland Street, Sunderland, both sides from a point 10.0 metres west of the extended western highway boundary of Fulwell Road, to its eastern extent. Tunstall Road, Sunderland, the south-east side from a point 0.5 metres north-east of the extended southern property boundary of 91 & 93 Tunstall Road, to its intersection with Queen Alexandra Road. Windlass Lane, Albany, Washington, Sunderland the north-east side from a point 22.5 metres south-east of the extended party property boundary of 1 & 2 Rose Cottage, for a distance of 29.4 metres in a south-easterly direction. Schedule 2 Millburn Street, Sunderland, the east side from the extended party property boundary of 58 Hylton Road & 80 Millburn Street, to its southern extent. Riverside Road, Sunderland, both sides its entire length. Schedule 3 Bretton Close, Washington, Sunderland the east side from a point 1.5 metres south of its intersection with the extended southern highway boundary of Ruston Way, to its northern extent. Craggs Road, Washington, Sunderland the north-east side from a point 18.2 metres north of its intersection with the extended eastern highway boundary of Rushton Way, to its southern extent. Schedule 4 In Schedule 1 ‘No Waiting’ of The City of Sunderland (North Sunderland Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2003 as amended by The City of Sunderland (North Sunderland Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2003 (Amendment) Order 2006, Item 91 relating to “Coleridge Road, (i) both sides from its junction with Cranleigh Road, for a distance of 98 metres in a northerly direction”, is hereby revoked in its entirety. In Schedule 4.45 ‘Parking: Monday to Saturday, 8.00am to 6.00pm, 1 Hour Maximum No Return Within 1 Hour’ of The City of Sunderland (Tavistock Place, Laura Street and Murton Street) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order 2012, Item relating to “Tavistock Place, the south-east side from a point 56.5 metres south west of the western highway boundary of Tatham Street Back, for a distance of 12.0 metres in a south westerly direction”, is hereby revoked in its entirety. In Schedule 1 ‘On-Street Parking Places’ of The City of Sunderland (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2023, the item relating to “Laura Street (i) the north-east side from a point 17.0 metres south of the intersection of its extended eastern kerbline and the extended south eastern kerbline of Tavistock Place, for a distance of 24.0 metres in a southerly, then south-easterly direction”, is hereby revoked in their entirety. In Schedule 1 ‘No Waiting’ of The City of Sunderland (Washington Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2003 as amended by The City of Sunderland (Washington Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2003 (Amendment) Order 2006 and The City of Sunderland (Washington Area) (Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2003 (Item No.30) (Amendment) Order 2007, Item 21 relating to “Sulgrave Road both sides from its junction with Usworth Station Road, to its junction with Waterloo Road”, is hereby revoked in its entirety.
