What is happening?
Borough of Telford & Wrekin
The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Cherrington Grange To Sheep Bridge, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst essential bridge repair works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 11/8/25.
The following road is affected: Cherrington Grange To Sheep Bridge, Newport from its jcn with The Wrekin District Boundary Howle To The Wrekin District Boundary for approx. 110m in a southerly direction. The maximum
duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 26/9/25. Alternative routes will be signed on site.
