Gervase Drive, Dudley - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to
make the following Order,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Gervase Drive,
Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Gervase Drive and Woodland Avenue, Dudley, for the purpose of gas
mains replacement works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order
will come into operation on 25.08.2025 and will remain in force until 15.09.2025 or
until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the
order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Forest Road, Castle Mill Road, Priory
Road, Woodland Avenue, and vice versa; OR Woodland Avenue, Priory Road, The
Broadway, Paganel Drive, Gervase Drive, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
