North Green, Kelsale Cum Carlton - Temporary Road Closure due to Rail Access

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U2409 NORTH GREEN, KELSALE CUM CARLTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2409 North Green, Kelsale Cum Carlton from the rail track head for 20 metres eastbound and 20 metres westbound to facilitate access and egress of Road Rail Vehicle on to the track. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Town Farm Lane, the A12, Yoxford Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 10.30pm on 16/08/2025 to 8.30am on 17/08/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
