What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED)
BRIDLEWAY NO. 20 (PART) WIGGINTON AND HOPWAS PARISH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 24/7/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any users from proceeding along the following lengths of Public Rights of Way:
– Public Footpath No. 1 Bridgtown Parish from its junction with Watling Bridleway No. 20 (part) Wigginton and Hopwas Parish from it’s junction with A51 for approximately 522 metres in a north north easterly direction.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to works taking place on the footpath.
An alternative route is available on site.
A plan will be displayed on site to show length of paths to be closed.
This Order came into operation on 1/8/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

(TAMWORTH) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) ORDER NO 1 (AMENDMENT) NO. X/20XX
Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce the following restrictions on the roads listed below in Tamworth:
– No Waiting, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm on Blythe Street, Tamworth;
– No Waiting at Any Time on Blythe Street, Friars Walk, Southwick Drive and Blenheim Close, Tamworth
