KIRKLEES COUNCIL - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
(PLOVER ROAD, LINDLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Plover Road, Lindley from its junction with Acre Street to a point approximately at the side of Sainsburys PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Plover Road, Cadogan Avenue, Acre Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 26 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 12 September 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BURNLEE ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Burnlee Road, Holmfirth from its junction with Burnside to a point approximately outside Property no.22 Burnside PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Burnlee Road, Woodhead Road, Greenfield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 27 August 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day between the hours of 19:00 to 23:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(IVY STREET, MOLDGREEN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ivy Street, Moldgreen, from a point approximately outside property no. 1 Ivy Street to a point approximately outside property no. 9 Ivy Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Carr Pit Road, Silver Street West, Silver Street, Ivy Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 27 August 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LINGARDS ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lingards Road, Huddersfield from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Neilds Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Manchester Road, Nields Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 26 August 2025 and remain in force until 29 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(NETHERMOOR ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Nethermoor Road, Huddersfield from its junction with Meltham Road to 100m North from its junction with Meltham Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Meltham Road, Butternab Road, Balmoral Avenue, Blackmoorfoot Road, Thewlis Lane, unaffected part of Nethermoor Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 25 August 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LUKE LANE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Luke Lane, Holmfirth from a point approximately outside The Devour Restaurant to a point outside 3 storey apartment block adjacent to it, Luke Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:
Diversion 1 - Woodlands Avenue, Miry Lane, Luke Lane and vice versa
Diversion 2 - Luke Lane, New Mill Road, Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth Road, Springwood Road, Luke Lane and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 25 August 2025 and remain in force until 29 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WOODHEAD ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodhead Road, Holmfirth from the junction of Woodhead Road to a point approximately outside property no.1 Field End Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Field End Lane, Bank Top Lane, Fieldhead Lane, Woodhead Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 13 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 18 August 2025 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CEMETERY ROAD, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cemetery Road, Holmfirth from streetlamp no. 3 to streetlamp no. 4 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Cemetery Road, Cartworth Road, Cartworth Bank Road, Lamma Well Road, Gill Lane, Hill House Road, Brow Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 11 August 08:00 and remain in force until 16 August 2025 17:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HOLT LANE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Holt Lane, Holmfirth from a point approximately from the Telecoms tower to a point approximately outside property no. 31 Holt Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
No diversion. Residents access only.
All works to stop when residents need access/egress.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 9 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 17 August 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(ST JOHN’S AVENUE, KIRKHEATON, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of St John’s Avenue, Kirkheaton from a point approximately outside property no. 17 St Johns Avenue to a point approximately outside property no. 19 St Johns Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via St John’s Avenue, New Road, Fields Rise, St John’s Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 13 August 2025 and remain in force for until 15 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LONGLEY LANE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Longley Lane, Huddersfield from a point outside property no. 30 Longley Lane to a point outside property no. 71 Longley Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Longley Lane, Lowerhouses Lane, Hey Lane, Longley Road, Somerset Road, Northgate, Westgate, Kaye Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 29 August 2025 and remain in force until 29 August 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(FOOTPATH COL/56/10, FOOTPATH COL/56/20, FOOTPATH COL/56/30, OFF BROOK LANE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the lengths of Footpath COL/56/10, Footpath COL/56/20, Footpath COL/56/30, off Brook Lane, Huddersfield from its junction with Brook Lane to its junctions with Share Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Share Hill Road, Brook Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on 12 August 2025 0:00 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 22 July 2025 and will remain in force until 21 January 2026. (Any further extension will require the permission of the Secretary of State).
(SMITHY PLACE LANE, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Smithy Place Lane, Holmfirth from streetlamp no. 8 to streetlamp no. 10 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Smithy Place Lane, New Mill Road, Station Road, Woodhead Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 28 August 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
