Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn i wahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio’r Ffordd Dosbarth III ger Llandyrnog yn Sir Ddinbych, sef y ffordd o groesfan Llangwyfan hyd fan y Sir ym Mhen y Cloddiau, sy’n mynd tua’r dwyrain am tua 390 metr o bwynt sydd 830 metr i’r dwyrain o’r gyffordd â’r ffordd rhwys croesfan Llangwyfan ac Eglwys Sant Cwyfan.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd fel y gall Cyngor Sir Ddinbych adnewyddu ceuffos. Bydd y ffordd yn parhau i gerddwyr gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion ar y safle’n dangos y ffordd arall.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 11 Awst 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis ond fe’i diddymir cyn hynny os cwblheir y gwaith yn gynt. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tan tua 19 Medi 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

CLASS III ROAD, LLANGWYFAN

CROSSROADS NEAR LLANDYRNOG

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using the Class III road near Llandyrnog in the County of Denbigh, known as ‘Llangwyfan crossroads to Pen y Cloddiau County Boundary’ which extends eastward from a point 830 metres east of its junction with ‘Llangwyfan crossroads to Llangwyfan Church’ for a distance of approximately 390 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate culvert replacement works by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 11th August 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 19th September 2025.
