Nine Mile Ride, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Resurfacing Works
What is happening?

(B3430 NINE MILE RIDE, WOKINGHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
a) B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham in both directions between the roundabout with Old Wokingham Road and South Road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Old Wokingham Road, B3348 Bracknell Road, A3095 Foresters Way and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the developer carries out resurfacing of the carriageway. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 18th August 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 18th August 2025 at 20:00 and 19th August 2025 at 06:00. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
