What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (HARBY ROAD, LANGAR (50 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 (8396)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council HAS MADE an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Langar in the Borough of Rushcliffe in the County of Nottinghamshire.

1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.

 SCHEDULE
HARBY ROAD, LANGAR
• From its junction with Langar Lane in a northerly-westerly direction for 828 metres
Relevant documents may be inspected during opening hours at:
(a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP.
(b) Bingham Library, Eaton Place, Bingham, Nottingham NG113 8BE

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 8TH AUGUST 2025

The 50 mph Speed Limit has been introduced to reduce the speed of traffic in the area due to reports of accidents along the route.
