Dukes Ride, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Carriageway Patching Works

What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(B3348 DUKES RIDE, CROWTHORNE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) B3348 Dukes Ride, Crowthorne in both directions between the Borough boundary and High Street Crowthorne.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: High Street, Sandhurst Road, Crowthorne Road, A321 High Street, A321 Wokingham Road and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority complete carriageway patching work. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 13th August 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00 on 13th August 2025. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
