What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (BIRCH HILL ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:#
a) Birch Hill Road, Bracknell in both directions between the junctions of Liscombe and Birch Hill Shopping Centre.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Birch Hill Road, Ringmead, and this route reversed
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Vodafone carry out maintenance works to the telecoms mast. The Order came into operation on the 7th August 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, It is currently planned that the closure will be in place from 09:30 to 15:30 on the 7th August 2025. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
