Whitmore Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Drainage Works

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(WHITMORE LANE (PART), SUNNINGHILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to: Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Whitmore Lane from its junction with Dale Lodge Road to its junction with A329 London Road.

The diversion route for vehicles affected is via Whitmore Lane, Bedford Lane, A30 London Road, A329 Blacknest Road and A329 London Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely CCTV of Highway drainage and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order shall be in operation each day between 09:00 hours and 15:00 hours from Wednesday 20 August until Thursday 21 August 2025. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
