M25 Motorway, Junction 10 - Temporary Traffic Restrictions

What is happening?

M25 MOTORWAY JUNCTION 10 – WISLEY INTERCHANGE
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway and A3 Trunk Road in the County of Surrey, under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because of the likelihood of danger to the public.

The effect of the Order is to enable the use of variable mandatory speed limits on: -

1. along the length of the clockwise carriageway of the M25, commencing at the centreline of Bookham Road underbridge and running clockwise for a total distance of 6,050 metres;

2. along the length of the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25, commencing at a point 5,580 metres west of, and running anti-clockwise up to, the centreline of Bookham Road underbridge;

3. the entire circulatory system of Wisley Interchange roundabout (M25 Junction 10);

4. all the slip roads leading to and from the M25 at Wisley Interchange (M25 Junction 10); and 5. all the link roads connecting to and from the M25 at Wisley Interchange (M25 Junction 10).

These measures are in the interests of road safety.

The Order will come into force on the 11th August 2025 and remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until revoked, if sooner.

The variable mandatory speed limits will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation.
