Plainsfield Road, Over Stowey - Temporary Road Closure due to Road Sign Replacement Works

Temporary Closure of Plainsfield Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Plainsfield Road - from 22 metres south of the junction with Marshmills Cottage Approach, southwards for a total distance of 32 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out road sign replacement on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 5th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th August 2025 and last until 11th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
