Perry Green Road, Wembdon - Temporary Road Closure due to Overhead Electricity Works

Temporary Closure of Perry Green Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Perry Green Road - from the junction with Perry Wood Farm Approach, westwards for a total distance of 298 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus to carry out overhead electricity works on behalf of National Grid Distribution.
The Order becomes effective on 19th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th August 2025 and last until 29th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 35 days.
