What is happening?

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SIDGREAVES LANE, PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (RESTRICTED ROAD STATUS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose the above Speed Limit under Sections 82(2) and 83(2) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to revert the speed limit to restricted road status by virtue of street lighting, where a 30mph speed limit will apply, on Sidgreaves Lane, Preston, from a point 87 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Buckthorn Drive, for a distance of 182 metres in a north westerly direction.
As the speed limit would be introduced by virtue of street lighting no Speed Limit Order would be necessary.

A copy of the associated documents for the proposal may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
