What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wolverhampton City Council proposed to make the following Order under Sections 1, 2 and 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is as follows:

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (CITY CENTRE)

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET

PARKING PLACES)

(AMENDMENT NO 2) ORDER 2025

This Order will prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time on any day in any loading area unless such waiting is necessary to enable goods to be loaded or unloaded from the vehicle in connection with adjoining trade or business premises for a period no longer than 30 minutes with no return within 1 hour in parts of Old Hall Street.
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order.

Any objection(s) to the proposed Order should be made in writing to the undersigned by 29 August 2025 stating the ground(s) for the objection(s).
