What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(OLD HALL STREET, ST PETERS) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along Old Hall Street closed its full length.
The vehicular diversion route: None.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, it is anticipated that the road closure will be in place from 09:30 on 11 August 2025 until 29 August 2025 (approximately).
The Order is required to facilitate Section 50 laying new gas service and Section 278 footway reconstruction works by SFC Services Ltd and D and G Utilities.
