ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Armouries Drive & Clarence Road Leeds) (Temporary Parking Bay Suspension) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be
executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council has
made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or be in any of those parking bays situated at 1. Armouries
Drive, opposite the junction with Clarence Road. 2. Clarence Road, on the 
eastern side of the carriageway. Essential access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 11th August
2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the
works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by

(Marshall Street, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because Civil remedial works are being or are
proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Marshall Street, Leeds,
between its junctions with Sweet Street and Trent Street. Diversionary routes
for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Sweet Street, Meadow
Road, Dewsbury Road, Jack Lane & via Jack Lane, A653, Sweet Street. The
Order shall come into operation on Monday 18th August 2025 and will remain
in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed
if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 8 September

(Carleton Close, Boston Spa, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Carleton Close, Boston Spa, Leeds, from a point adjacent to 6 Carleton Close to the end of the cul-de-sac. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (St Marks Street, Woodhouse, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas main replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway, Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along St Marks Street, Leeds at its junction with Woodhouse Lane. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available: (Northbound) via Woodhouse Lane, Rampart Road, Cathcart Street, St Mark’s Road & St Mark’s Street. (Southbound) via Woodhouse Lane, St Marks Road & St Marks Street. The Order shall come into operation on Thursday 7 August 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Flax Place, Richmond Hill, Leeds) (Temporary Suspension of Parking Bays) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the need to enable construction
traffic to safely enter and leave a construction site situated or near the under
mentioned highway and to minimise the risk of potential for damage to
residents vehicles; Leeds City Council therefore intends (in not less than
7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to park in those parking bays that run along Flax
Place, Richmond Hill, Leeds, situated opposite Entrance Gate 1 of the
construction site near the junction with Richmond Street. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Batter Lane, Rawdon, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas mains replacement works are
being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned
highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an
Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to travel along Batter Lane, Rawdon, between its junctions with
Harrogate Road and Larkfield Road. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected
by the closure will be available and signposted. The Order is intended to come
into operation on Monday 18th August 2025 and will remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The
works are expected to be completed by Friday 24th October 2025. The closure

(Templar Place & Lydia Street, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of
Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) requiring a site compound, in the interests of public safety Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel or park along Templar Place, between its junctions with Lady Lane and Templar Street or along Lydia Street, Leeds, between its junctions with Lady Lane and Templar Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closures will be available via: Lady Lane, Bridge Street, Templar Street. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works
are expected to be completed by Monday 31st August 2026. A Coultate.

(St Paul’s Place & Park Square South, Leeds)
(Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because district heating pipework installation
works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along St Paul’s Place, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with St Paul’s Street and Park Square South. 2. The existing one-way restriction in place on Park Square South, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward will be suspended throughout the duration of works to facilitate two-way traffic. 3. Those six parking bays situated on the south side of Park Square South, that run for a distance of 47 metres between St Paul’s Place and Park Square East, will be suspended throughout the duration of works to facilitate two-way traffic. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Park Square East, St Pauls Street, Park Square West, Park Square North. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 1st September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Main Street, Bunkers Hill & Lotherton Lane, Aberford , Leeds)
(Temporary 7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of safety and environmental measures to be undertaken by National Highways; Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause any vehicle with a gross maximum weight exceeding of 7.5 Tonnes, to proceed along: 1. Main Street, Aberford; from the junction with Bramham Crossroads A64/A1 J44, in both a northernly and southernly direction to the junction with Bunnkers Hill. 2. Bunkers Hill, Aberford; from the junction with Main Street, in both a northernly and southernly direction to the junction with Lotherton Lane. 3. Lotherton Lane, Aberford; from the junction with Main Street, in both a easternly and westerly direction to the junction with Collier Lane. EXCEPT FOR vehicles being used by/for: refuse collections/emergency services/bus & coach operators/delivery/local businesses/agricultural purposes/livestock movements/legitimate access to property within the overall boundary of the weight limit. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 17th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to take place on weeknights only between the hours 20:00 - 06:00 and be completed by Tuesday 23rd September 2025, subject to additional dates to be confirmed which are likely to be during April 2026. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order – Leeds United 2025 Fixtures – Sovereign Street
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to
the public (in relation to the holding of football matches at Elland Road, Leeds
City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, has today
made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is that: 1. No vehicle other than for buses, shall stop or
wait for a period exceeding 20 minutes, on that part of Sovereign Street that
runs for a distance of 18m in a south-westerly direction, from the rear of the
existing coach bay restriction. 2. It will also be necessary to change the existing loading to a shared loading & taxi restriction and to prohibit the use of the northern carriageway edge of that part Sovereign Street, that runs for a
distance of 16m from a point 17m from its junction with Swinegate to all
vehicles other than Hackney Carriages. The Order shall come into operation
three hours before the scheduled kick-off of each match and continue for
approximately three hours from the end of each match. Provisional Premier
League match days are scheduled to take place on the following dates: 18 &
30 Aug; 27 Sept; 4 & 25 Oct; 22 Nov; 3, 6 & 20 Dec 2025. For the avoidance
of doubt, the Order shall apply to the above fixture dates, (or any alternative
re-scheduled match date, together with any League Cup tie to be held at Elland Road this calendar year. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated on or adjacent to any road or part of road to be closed or to which restrictions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from such a road.

(Waiting Restrictions and On Street Parking Places) (City Wide)
Order 2025 – (Amendment No.9) Order 2025
Leeds City Council has today made the above-named Amendment Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 122, 124 & part IV
of Schedule 9) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the
Traffic Management Act 2004 as amended and of all other enabling powers
and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police. The effect of this Amendment Order, which comes into effect on 11 August 2025, is to incorporate and introduce those restrictions that were were originally advertised under the following Order numbers, on the dates specified (except
where specifically excluded):
1. Morley South (W41 2014) Amend Order 2023, advertised on 15 Sept 2023, introducing: No Waiting at any Time and Time Limited Waiting on lengths of road in South Morley.
2. Bramley & Stanningley (W13) Order 2023 advertised on 26 Oct 2023;
introducing No Waiting at any Time; No Stopping on School Entrance Markings and Time Limited Parking with exemptions for permit holders (where applicable) on lengths of road in Bramley, Rodley and Stanningley
3. Adel (W46 2014) Amend Order 3 2023, advertised on 21 Dec 2023 introducing: No Waiting at any Time on lengths of road in Adel, Bramhope,
Cookridge & Pool-in-Wharfedale.
4. Gipton & Harehills (W12 2015) Amend Order 2024, advertised on 25 Jan
2024 introducing: No Waiting at any Time; Disabled Persons Parking, Time
Limited Parking with exemptions for permit holders (where applicable) and
a Permit Parking Zone, on lengths of road in Harehills.
5. Chapel Allerton (W43 2014) Amend Order 1 2023, advertised on 1 Feb
2024 introducing: No Waiting at any Time; No Waiting between specified
hours; a Loading Bay; Time Limited Parking: a Coach Bay and a Permit Parking Zone, on lengths of road in Chapel Allerton & Meanwood.
6. Calverley & Farsley (W08 2015) Amend Order 1 2024, advertised on 29 Feb 2024 introducing; No Waiting at any Time; No Waiting between Specified Hours, Time Limited Parking and a Loading Bay, on lengths of road in Calverley & Farsley.

11. Otley & Yeadon (W38 2013) Amend Order 1 2024, advertised on 9 Jan
2025 introducing: No Waiting at any Time and No Waiting between Specified Hours on lengths of road in Otley & Yeadon – but not on any part of Cemetery Rd, Green La, Hawthorn Dr & Rd, Ilkley Rd, Meagill Rise Flats,
Moorfield Cl/Cres/Rd, Rufford Ave Station Rd or The Oval.
By virtue of this Amendment Order, the various traffic restrictions advertised
under the eleven Orders listed above have (except where specifically excluded
above) have been incorporated within ‘The Leeds City Council Various Roads,
Metropolitan District of Leeds) (Waiting Restrictions and On Street Parking
Places) (City Wide) Order 2025’, which comprises map-based schedules and
an electronic map-based system. A copy of this Amendment Order, together
with related documentation may be obtained by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of this Amendment Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
