Ceredigion - Temporary Road and Footpath Closures due to Works

Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Gwahardd Traffig Twodd Dros Dro) (A475 Adpar, Castellnewydd Emlyn) 2025 er mwyn gwahardd cerbydau rhag teithio ar hyd y ffordd honno. Caniateir mynediad i gerddwyr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain o bwynt i’r gorllewin o’r man lle bydd y ffordd ar gau fydd teithio ar hyd yr A475 i gyfeiriad y gorllewin i’r gychfan yn Adpar. Cymryd yr allanfa gyntaf ar y gychfan i’r A475, Stryd y Bont a theithio drwy Castellnewydd Emlyn i gyffordd Heol Dwr â’r A484. Troi i’r chwith i’r A484 a theithio drwy Saron i’r gyffordd â’r A486. Troi i’r chwith i’r A486 a theithio i gychfan Rhyd y Galfe. Cymryd yr allanfa gyntaf ar y gychfan i’r A486 a theithio i gychfan Cwm Meudwy. Cymryd yr ail allanfa ar y gychfan, i’r A486, a theithio i’r gyffordd â’r A475 yn Horeb. Troi i’r chwith i’r A475 a theithio tua’r gorllewin i bwynt sydd i’r dwyrain o’r man lle bydd y ffordd ar gau, ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 16 milltir. Bwriedir i’r Gorchymyn ddod i rym ar 07/08/2025 a bydd yn para hyd nes y bydd y gwaith o ddioddef ac o osod ceblau trydanol tanddaearol yn y ffordd yn dod i ben mewn tua 7 diwrnod. Gall y Gorchymyn bara am bymtheg am 18 mis.

HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod y Cyngor Sir wedi gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Llywbr Troed 78/16)(Gwahardd Traffig Twodd Dros Dro) 2025 gan wahardd unrhyw gerddwr rhag mynd heibio y darn o hawliau tramwy cyhoeddus a adwaenir fel; Llwybr Troed 78/16 (SN1763:4607) o stryd Lower Mwldan i Netpool Road, Aberteifi. Nid oes ffordd amgen. Bydd y Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn angenrheidiol am y mwyafswm disgwyliedig nes bydd gwaith adeiladu wedi dod i ben. Disgwylir y bydd hyn ar 31/07/2025 ac gall y Gorchymyn bara am uchafswm o 6 mis; gall gael ei ymestyn os bydd angen.

Ceredigion County Council

The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 29/07/2025, to make the Ceredigion County Council (A475 Adpar, Newcastle Emlyn) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. The alternative route for eastbound traffic from a point west of the closure is to travel along the A475 in a westerly direction to the roundabout at Adpar. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A475, Bridge Street and travel through Newcastle Emlyn to the Water Street junction with the A484. Turn left onto the A484 and travel through Saron to its junction with the A486. Turn left onto the A486 and travel to the Rhyd y Galfe roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A486 and travel to the Cwm Meudwy roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the A486 and travel to its junction with the A475 at Horeb. Turn left onto the A475 and travel in a westerly direction to a point east of the closure and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 16 miles. It is intended that the Order will come into force on 07/08/2025 and will continue until excavation and laying of underground electrical cable in roadway has been completed—approximately 7 days. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.

NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (Footpath 78/16)(Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any walkers from proceeding along the length of public right of way known as Footpath 78/16 (SN1763:4607) from Lower Mwldan Street to Netpool Road, Cardigan. There is no alternative route. The proposed order will remain in place for safety reasons until work is completed. The Order was implemented on 31/07/2025 and may remain in force for a period not exceeding 6 months; this can be extended by applying to the Welsh Government.
