The County of Cornwall (Jacobs Lane, Penzance) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2025 to 19th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Jacobs Lane, Penzance between the properties known as number 7 and number 15.

The County of Cornwall (Church Road and Station Hill, Lelant) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lelant. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0700 and 1600, weekends included.
Roads affected - Church Road, Lelant between the junction of Station Hill and Lelant Meadows, Station Hill, Lelant between the junction of Church Road and the property known as Pendragon.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carbis Bay. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th August 2025 to 20th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Road affected - Headland Road, Carbis Bay between the junction of Headland Close and Nampara Close.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Ludgvan. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st September 2025 to 12th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Access To Boskennal Mill And Cucurrian Farm and Blowing House Hill, Ludgvan for their entire lengths.

This prohibition is necessary for gas connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th August 2025 to 26th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Road affected - St Johns Street, Hayle between the junction of Cross Street and Chapel Lane.

This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th August 2025 to 27th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of roads in Long Rock. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2025 to 5th October 2025.. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
Roads affected - Cuxhaven Way, Poniou Road, Main Access To Long Rock Industrial Estate, Poniou Way, Long Rock for their entire lengths, Poniou Lane, Long Rock between the junction of Cuxhaven Way and Road From Eastern Green To Roundabout East Of Godolphin Villa.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carbis Bay. This prohibition is necessary for electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd September 2025 to 10th September 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Parc Owles, Carbis Bay between the properties known as Casita Serena and Chy Conary.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30MPH over an area of highway being A30 Between Mount Misery Roundabout And Heamoor Roundabout, Penzance between grid references SW4634530813 and SW4623430521 for approximately 350 metres.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because development works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 7th September 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 14th December 2025. The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
