Hambledon, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - CAMS HILL & MENSLANDS LANE, HAMBLEDON, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
Cams Hill between its junction with B1250 and continuing to a point 160 metres West on Cams Hill. Menslands Lane between its junction with Cams Hill and continuing to a point 90 metres South on Menslands Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cams Hill, Hoe Street, Bent Lane, West Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 6th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 weeks and working between the hours 08:00-18:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN Communications to complete fibre optic cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: enquiries@ccncommunications.co.uk
