Poles Lane, Temporary Speed Restriction Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION - POLES LANE, HURSLEY, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION - To impose a 50-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:
Poles Lane, Winchester between Bunstead Lane and continuing to a point 350 metres East on Poles Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 4th August 2025 for a period of 18 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 18 months and in operation 24 hours a day).
