(Southbourne: Emsworth Show)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit waiting at any time on lengths of Thorney Road:-

(i)  west side, from the A259 Main Road southwards for a distance of 30 metres; and

(ii) east side, from the A259 Main Road southwards for a distance of 350 metres

The Order will come into operation on 25 August 2025. The restrictions are needed to maintain the safe flow of traffic while the Emsworth Show is taking place and will be in place between 0800 and 1800 hours on 25 August 2025.

(Yapton: Grevatts Lane West)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Grevatts Lane West in Yapton from its junction with Yapton Road eastwards to 130m.

The road closure is needed to allow new electricity cables to be installed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 11 August 2025 and remain in force until 20 August 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Chichester: Whyke Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Whyke Road, between York Road and Cleveland Road. The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas replacement works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 11 August 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 11 August 2025 and will take 3 weeks to complete.

(Aldingbourne: Hook Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Hook Lane in Aldingbourne from its junction with Autumn Gate to its junction with Grender Way.

The road closure is needed to allow new electricity cables to be installed in safety.

The Order will come into effect on 11 August 2025 and remain in force until 22 August 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Bognor Regis: Ash Grove)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Ash Grove in Bognor Regis from its junction with Fir Tree Way to its junction with Bronze Close.

The road closure is needed to allow electricity cabling works to be carried out in safety.

The Order continues the effect of a short-term closure notice and will come into effect on 10 August 2025, with the works expected to end on 12 September 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
