High Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cabling & Desilting Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - HIGH STREET, TOTTON & ELING, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of High Street between its junction with Eling Lane and a point approx. 315 metres East of said junction.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Totton Bypass, Rumbridge Street, Redbridge Causeway

DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night, working between the hours 21:00 - 06:00).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out cabling and desilting works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
