Warsash, Temporary Road Closures Due To Excavation Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES - NEWTOWN ROAD & HOOK PARK ROAD, WARSASH, FAREHAM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: that part of Newtown Road & Hook Park Road between its junction with Pitchpond Road and its junction with Solent Drive.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Warsash Road, Schooner Way, Dibles Road, Fleet End Road, Hook Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: from 6th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).

The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Circet to carry out excavate to lay duct. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Thomas.kirk@circet.co.uk

Circet will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
