Maunsell Way, Temporary Road Closure Due To Excavation Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE - MAUNSELL WAY FOOTPATHS, HEDGE END, EASTLEIGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Maunsell Way Footpaths between its junction with Martley Gardens and its junction with Hedge End Station Car Park.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Martley Gardens, Maunsell Way Footpaths
DURATION OF ORDER: from 4th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Mildren Construction to carry out excavate trench for SSE street lighting cable. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: main@mildrenconstruction.co.uk
Mildren Construction will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
