Buckinghamshire - Parking Restrictions and Cycle Lane Conversion

What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Buckinghamshire Council proposes to make the below-named Traffic Regulation Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Highways Act 1980 and Cycle Tracks Act 1984.

The Buckinghamshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) Order 2021 (Amendment No* ) Order 202*

The effect of the Order is to introduce various new restrictions on roads near Winslow Railway station as listed below:

BUCKINGHAM ROAD – Limited Waiting 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only WS1, Limited Waiting 3hrs No Return Within 1hr, No Stopping At Any Time on Verge or Footway, No Stopping on Main Carriageway & No Waiting At Any Time.

CLAREMONT CLOSE – No Waiting At Any Time.

COURTHOUSE CLOSE – Limited Waiting 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only WS3, No Waiting At Any Time & Permit Parking Area WS3.

CRICKETERS ROW & ELMFIELDS GATE – No Waiting At Any Time.

FURZE LANE – No Stopping At Any Time on Verge or Footway & No Stopping On Main Carriageway.

GEORGE PASS AVENUE – No Loading At Any Time & No Waiting At Any Time.

GREAT HORWOOD ROAD – No Waiting At Any Time.

HIGH STREET - Limited Waiting 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs/Permit Parking Only WS2 & No Waiting At Any Time.

HIGHFIELD ROAD – Limited Waiting 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only WS1, No Waiting At Any Time & Permit Parking Area WS1 Except in signed bays.

MILL CLOSE – No Waiting At Any Time.

PARK ROAD – Limited Waiting 2hrs, No Return Within 2hrs/Permit Parking Only WS2 & Permit Parking Area WS2 Except in signed bays  

PICCADILLY – No Waiting At Any Time & Permit Holders Only WS1, WS2, WS3.

PICCADILLY MEWS & SHAFTESBURY COURT – No Waiting At Any Time.

STATION ROAD – Limited Waiting 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs/Permit Holders Only WS3 & No Waiting At Any Time.

The Buckinghamshire Council (A413 Buckingham Road, Winslow) Cycle Lane Order 202*

The effect of the Order is to convert a section of the southern footway on A413 Buckingham Road to shared – use under Section 3 of the Cycle Track Act 1984 and Sections 65(1) and 66(4) of the Highways Act 1980. This will be located from the uncontrolled crossing point c. 50 metres from the junction with B4033 Great Horwood Road in a southerly direction to the junction with Highfield Road, for a length of approximately 150 metres.

A copy of the Order and Plans showing the length of roads affected, together with a copy of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm at Buckinghamshire Council, Council Access Plus, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA, United Kingdom.
