Leigh Road - Temporary Closure to Carry Out Disconnection Works

Temporary Closure of Leigh Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Leigh Road - from 55 metres south-east the junction with High Street, south-eastwards for a total distance of 28 metres. This Order will enable Bristol Water to carry out disconnection works.
The Order becomes effective on 7th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th August 2025 and last until 13th August 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
