The Hill, Temporary Traffic Restriction Due To Utility Works

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U4078 THE HILL, MILLOM) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) (NO.2) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U4078 The Hill, Millom, from its junction with the access road to Underhill Farmhouse, extending in an overall easterly direction for approx. 400m. There is no suitable alternative route available for vehicles.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 6 August 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 2 days between 0830 and 1600 hours and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
