(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

SUMMERHOUSE FOOTPATH 5

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

SUMMERHOUSE FOOTPATH 5 – Entirely

An alternative route is available via Blind Lane, B6275 and vice versa.

The Order is necessary due to a collapsed bridge on the footpath and to enable the Council to evaluate and carry out any necessary repairs.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 6 months commencing from 7th August 2025.
