Dereham Road, Mattishall - 30mph Speed Limit Extension Order

What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(MATTISHALL, C200 DEREHAM ROAD)

(30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025

The Norfolk County Council has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 28th July 2025, and it will come into operation on 2nd August 2025.

The effect of this Order will be to extend the 30mph speed limit along the C200 Dereham Road by 105 metres westwards to include a length of the C200 Dereham Road (Yaxham Road) which was previously subject to a 40mph speed restriction imposed by The Norfolk County Council (Mattishall, Yaxham Road, Stone Road and Old Hall Road) (40 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 2009.

A copy of the Order and Plan can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Breckland District Council, Elizabeth House, Walpole Loke, Dereham, during normal office hours, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
